This combi seed drill is an excellent machine for farmers with hard soil. The robust T model is Junkkari’s most versatile combi seed drill. It has been developed especially for medium-hard and hard soils. It has the sharpest wedge-shaped disc coulter in our range, and it penetrates the soil with precise force. This enables also direct sowing.

The T-model offers a wide pressure range of 20-150 kg, giving you a wide range of possibilities for adjusting the sowing depth. The T model maintains excellent sowing accuracy even on more humus-rich soils. Changing the settings between fields is quick and easy.

Optimized sowing depth for all soil types

The T model is designed for lightly tilled or no-till soil. Its sharp wedge-shaped coulters penetrate sharply into hard and compact soil. The profile of the T model disc is about 30% steeper than the M model’s coulter, allowing it to penetrate the soil more aggressively. In T machine, coulter pressure can be adjusted hydraulically within the range of 20-150 kg. By reducing coulter pressure, the T model is also suitable for traditionally tilled soil.

Each coulter moves independently, following the soil surface and measuring the working depth from the exactly right spot. This ensures that seeds do not remain on the surface even in depressions, preventing secondary germination.

Cost-efficiency and reliability

Junkkari’s hopper is divided to two parts and it is exceptionally spacious. By adjusting the partition wall, relative volumes of seed and fertilizer hoppers can be changed. Hopper volume is 4200 liters in the 3-meter machine and 5700 liters in the 4-meter machine.

Mechanical feeding system is simple, precise, and reliable. Junkkari’s feeding mechanism is built on a mechanical drive that adapts to driving speed. Feed works reliably in all situations, even without electricity from the tractor.

Machine is stable and light to pull due to 20-inch wheels. Large wheels save fuel costs and maintain better soil structure due to lower surface pressure. A following harrow is standard on all Junkkari combi seed drills.
